Does it make problems having the timing belts too TIGHT or too LOOSE? What is the right way?
Thanks

I can't really help you out but here's what i think.
If it's too tight i would think it would snap.
and if it's too loose it would probably pop off. check out a helms manual or sumthin it should say the specs in there.
good luck.

It's hard to get it too tight. The Helm should say how tight but I seem to recall cheating and doing it by feel last time. Too loose is VERY BAD as you can skip the belt cogs and trash our engine.

you can skip a tooth on the cam and throw off the timing. happens to a lot of higher mileage cars when people don't do the timing belt.
